Carver Metabolomics Core Summer Workshop 2023

Registration Information

The Carver Metabolomics Core Summer Workshop taking place August 14 and 15 will include hands-on training with metabolomics data covering LC-MS data processing, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.

Features of the Workshop:
• Introduction to metabolomics, including all concepts relevant to hands-on data processing and statistical analysis conducted later in the workshop
• Metabolomics data pre- and post-processing exercises using MS-DIAL software, as well as our lab’s own software MetaboFilter and Compound-QC
• Multivariate, univariate, and pathway and chemical enrichment analysis using MetaboAnalyst and ChemRICH

The course will take place in a smart classroom where each participant will have access to a computer containing all software required for the course. In addition to presentations, hands-on exercises will be performed in small groups that are supported by members of both the Carver Metabolomics Core and High-Performance Biological Computing (HPCBIO) Core.

We will only use open source software that will guarantee the ability of participants to conduct the processes learned during the workshop on their own afterwards.

The course fee is $250 per participant to cover expenses for instructors.
