College of Education Graduate Student Conference 2025

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Education Graduate Student Conference 2025.

We are accepting submissions for developing works or finished original scholarship. The conference will be held in a hybrid format.

Poster Session Details

Poster sessions are a dynamic in-person platform where researchers showcase their work visually. Presenters will give a 1 minute lightning talk followed by a showcase where guests can interact with researchers and view the posters. Poster presenters must have their posters printed ahead of the conference.

Eligibility

Conference abstract submitters must be a student enrolled in an accredited graduate program or registered for a graduate class in an accredited university.
Interested applicants may submit more than one abstract form and may present more than once at the conference.

All presenters must be graduate degree seeking students in Spring 2025.

Submission Guidelines

Abstracts must be between 250 and 400 words in length.
Abstracts must be free of tables, graphs, and illustrations.

The abstracts should include:

A clear statement of the main argument and rationale for research
A description of the research goals and questions
An overview of the study’s methodology, population, and materials
Anticipated or actual results/findings
Conclusions (for studies that have been finalized)
Implications/applications
Optional: A statement about the relevance of the submission to the theme: Education in the 21st Century: Designing a More Inclusive Future.
