Graduate Student Conference Paper Abstract Submission

College of Education Graduate Student Conference 2026

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Education Graduate Student Conference 2026.

We are accepting submissions for developing works or finished original scholarship. The conference will be held in a hybrid format.

Please follow the guidelines below for your submission. If you have questions please email gsc@education.illinois.edu.

Paper Session Details

Paper sessions are designed to feature rigorous academic research that is fully completed or nearing completion—for example, projects that are at least 80% finished or have completed results and preliminary analyses. Participants will be grouped by theme, and they will give a solo presentation lasting about 15 minutes. Q&A will proceed after all presentations in the session are complete. These sessions offer a platform for researchers to present their comprehensive findings, methodologies, and theoretical contributions to a wider audience. Given the dual format, presenters have the flexibility to choose between in-person and virtual modes of presentation, ensuring a broader reach and accessibility. The presenters will not be able to change their format after December 1, 2025.

Eligibility

  • Conference abstract submitters must be a student enrolled in an accredited graduate program or registered for a graduate class in an accredited university.

  • Applicants may submit multiple abstracts and present more than once, but each research project may only be entered once under each presentation type: poster, paper, roundtable, or workshop.
