Festival Description

We are hosting the 13th Annual UIC Honors Band Festival from October 24-26, 2025. During the festival, students will participate in placement auditions, rehearse with a nationally recognized conductor, learn from members of the UIC faculty, attend concerts of various UIC Ensembles, interact with other participants in a musical setting, and perform for their family and friends.

Nomination Information

We welcome your nomination of all students who could receive musical benefits both for themselves and for your programs from this opportunity. Complete the information on the following pages to submit your nomination electronically. The nomination deadline is September 26, 2025.

To nominate a student, we ask that you provide a few pieces of information about them. This will help us select the best musicians and give them the most positive experience possible. It is important that your students are able to attend the entire duration of the festival. Students should be aware of their nomination and of the time commitment.
